A Study
31st December 2024: Reflecting on the Year
As the year comes to a close, I’m reflecting on what make an a photograph a good image. It has been more than just photography—it’s been a way to connect with the world around me and see beauty in the unexpected. Inspired by Stephen Shore, I’ve learned to slow down and appreciate the small moments that make life extraordinary
As the year comes to a close, I find myself pondering over what creates a good image in the art of photography. I also find myself questioning why I find such beauty in photography.
It hit me today.
Its more than the photos, its capturing a moment forever, encapsulating the beauty of the world around me with a single picture.
Thanks to my studies on Stephen Shore, now I've learned to relax and enjoy small moments in order to capture the essence of the extraordinary times in life.
These thoughts allow me to fully show my creativity and my view on the world without even needing to communicate fully.
The power of photos is so intricate that we underestimate it plenty, yet we still persist, pouring our souls into photography.
It truly is remarkable.
