Career Aspirations

As I look to the future, I aspire to become a documentary photographer. However, I must admit that I am still exploring what this path might look like for me. My interest lies in storytelling through images, but I have yet to determine the specific direction I want to pursue.

Potential areas of interest include social documentary photography, environmental issues, and personal narratives. Each of these fields offers an opportunity to use my skills to shed light on important topics and connect with audiences on a deeper level.

While I may not have all the answers yet, I see this uncertainty as an opportunity to explore, experiment, and grow as an artist.

Strategic Planning

To achieve my goal of becoming a documentary photographer, I have outlined several steps to guide my progression:

1. Building a Portfolio: I plan to develop a body of work that combines Polaroids with other photographic mediums. This portfolio will reflect my evolving practice and showcase my versatility as a photographer.

2. Collaborating and Networking: Working with established photographers and participate in projects that align with my interests. Internships, workshops, and collaborations will provide valuable insights and experiences.

3. Specialization: As I continue to explore documentary photography, I found it helped to identifying niche or interesting subject matter that resonates with me and aligns with my values.

4. Education and Skill Development: I plan to further develop my technical and storytelling skills through both formal and informal learning opportunities, including courses, online resources, and self-directed projects.
